Install your Maporio conversion tag on Wix

Wix calls it 'Custom code'. We'll add the snippet to every page in your head section.

Open Wix Settings

  1. From your Wix dashboard, click Settings in the left nav.
  2. Scroll to Advanced → Custom code.

Add a new snippet

  1. Click + Add Custom Code.
  2. Paste the Maporio snippet into the code box.
  3. Name it "Maporio Conversion Tracking".
  4. Under Add Code to Pages, choose All pages.
  5. Under Place Code in, choose Head.
  6. Click Apply.

Verify

Visit your published site in an incognito window. Open dev tools → Network tab → reload. Look for the gtag.js request. Or use our test page.

You're done when:

  • Custom code added on all pages, placed in <head>.
  • Snippet status shows 'Active' in Wix.
  • All three checks on /help/install-tracking/test pass.

On the Free Wix plan?

Custom code is locked on Free. You need at least the Lightplan ($16/mo) to unlock the Custom Code section. Upgrade is the cheapest path. If you'd rather not, buy our $997 White-Glove Tracking Install and we'll handle the upgrade + install for you.
